Carol Christian Poell is an Austrian-born designer (b. Linz, 1966) who presented his first menswear collection in 1995 and founded C.C.P. Srl in Milan with partner Sergio Simone, developing a womenswear line from 1998. The house is known for its own material-coding system and extravagant production techniques; ROOMS-PTC denotes kangaroo leather specifically processed for garment-dyeing ("Pronto per Tintura in Capo" – ready for object-dyeing), where the finished piece, not the raw hide, is dyed.
