Carol Christian Poell is an Austrian-born designer (b. Linz, 1966) who founded his Milan-based label C.C.P. Srl in the mid-1990s, known for its own material-coding system and technically extravagant construction. CORS-PTC identifies horse leather taken from the fore-part of the hide, vegetable-tanned and prepared for garment-dyeing, so the finished piece rather than the raw hide is dyed – the source of CCP's characteristic uneven, deep color. Also searched as CCP U-Sole boots, CCP CORS-PTC horse leather boots, or CCP Tornado Col19.
