Kuboraum was founded in Berlin in February 2012 by Italian designer Livio Graziottin and anthropologist Sergio Eusebi, working out of a converted former post office on the old border between East and West Berlin. The brand, whose motto is "dreamed in Berlin, handmade in Italy," refers to its eyewear as "masks" rather than glasses, treating each pair as a wearable object.
